Employee Spotlight: Nazhin Beiramee

As a Senior UX designer for Brightfind, Nazhin spends her days talking with and learning about Brightfind’s clients’ constituents—the very people who visit the websites she helps design. She discovers their professional challenges and why they visit (or don’t visit) websites for career assistance. She analyzes survey results to measure their true preferences Nazhin Square.jpgsurrounding member benefits and online resources. This user research enables Nazhin to present design recommendations, create workflows, and ensure every website she helps to design is intuitive and easy to navigate.

Nazhin started her career as a visual designer where she focused on designing printed materials and implemented brand guidelines (and sometimes served as the brand police). She developed an interest in how people interact with her designs—were they finding the information they needed? Were the designs helping her company meet its goals? This natural curiosity combined with her fierce design skills and dedication to research makes Nazhin the incredible user experience designer she is today. Her patience, kindness, and willingness to assist on any project make her a delight to work with for clients and staff members alike.

Nazhin has been with Brightfind for two-and-a-half years and loves working for a remote company. “I can work from anywhere! I love the ability to jump on a video call and share screens with colleagues to solve a design challenge from anywhere I am. I’m a visual person so being able to see the solution evolve on screen with my colleagues is imperative.”

A love of learning...and dogs

With two graduate degrees (MFA in Integrated Design and MA in Publications Design), and two professional certificates (Advanced Web & Interaction Design and User Experience), she has honed her passion for learning about technology, client needs, and how they affect each other.

Nazhin is a DC native and an animal lover. She’s volunteered with dogs for more than 10 years and fosters Shiba Inus looking for their forever home. Periodically you'll see one make a cameo appearance during video conference calls.
